Project Brief of First 5 months in 2023

For IMCZY, the first five months of 2023 was busy and fruitful. In the working atmosphere of autonomous management and pursue the high efficiency, all departments, projects teams, production lines and related parties worked hard and collaborated, to ensures that the safety, quality and working progress for all the vessels in the shipyard. IMCZY fulfilled the commitment to owners, practice the value creation, and continues to improve yard’s ESG management.

19 vessels have been repaired in IMCZY in Jan. 2023, average daily 12 vessels in the yard. The overall production situation was steady rise.

Highlights:

In Jan. , two chemical tankers for COT coating treatment, and one of them has been completed;

The first EGCS retrofitting project of 2023 was arrived and started; 

The production structure in Jan. was balance and reasonable, various type of vessels gather in IMCZY.

In Feb.2023, the production load of IMCZY was still heavy, and the schedule was tight. Due to the careful preparation of the pre-production by project teams, the overall production was busy and orderly, all milestones of the projects were carried out as per schedule.

Highlights:

In Feb. , two chemical tankers for COT coating treatment, and one of them has been completed;

EGCS retrofitting projects increased to 3 vessels, and one of them has been completed ;

Around 1200 tons of inner bottom plate renewal for One CAPESIZE has been completed, 7 days ahead of the quoted period.

The overhaul and renovation of the stern tube of PCTC was completed ahead of schedule in only one docking slot.

In March, the work load still increased.

Highlights:

In Mar. , three chemical tankers for COT coating treatment, and one of them has been completed;

EGCS retrofitting projects increased to 6 vessels, and one of them has been completed ;

Meanwhile 2 VLCC and 3 PCTC regular dd/repairs at a fast pace.

In April 2023, IMCZY has completed 106 internal shifts, and 21 shifts for vessels’ arrival and departure.

Highlights:

In Apr. , two chemical tankers for COT coating treatment, and one of them has been completed;

5 vessels for EGCS retrofitting, and two of them has been completed smoothly;

Meanwhile 3 VLCC and 4 PCTC regular dd/repairs at a fast pace.

In May, as the EGCS retrofitting projects has been reached to the final stage, and was completed one after another, the production work load back to normal level IMCZY started the pre-fabrication for the projects of July & Sep., to keep the fast pace of production.

Highlights:

In May, two chemical tankers for COT coating treatment, and one of them has been completed;

5 vessels for EGCS retrofitting, and two of them has been completed smoothly;

In May, average daily 10 vessels in the yard, and most were old oil tankers with big workscope.

In June, IMCZY will start a new journey, everyone who works in IMCZY will together to strive to build a top-class ship repair enterprise in the word, to write new chapters on High-quality development.
