IMCZY creates a new concept of world-class ship repair and opens up a new path for international cruise ship repair and maintenance.

On 19th March 2025, the cruise ship restoration project, which combines green, technological and high-end ship repair technologies, was started in IMC Shipyard (Zhoushan) Co., Ltd. 

The green intelligent docking robots were lined up in the docking project. PACIFIC WORLD underwent hydro blasting pretreatment operations, completing the cleaning of the 261-meter hull in 18 hours. The intelligent coating robot (DOCKELEPHANT, MINI DOCKELEPHANT) efficiently completed the anti-corrosive coating project of the cruise ship in 5 days. This is a customized renovation project for PACIFIC WORLD offered by IMCZY with green and intelligent technology.

The 30-year-old luxury cruise ship faced the challenge of a tight schedule and heavy workload during the 25-day renovation project. The project not only included six special inspections of key systems - such as power system, propulsion system and life-saving system, but also covered the complete renovation of hotel rooms on more than 10 decks, the upgrading project of deck areas and the addition of a 6-deck hotel museum gallery for the upcoming Nobel Peace Prize exhibition. 

In this cruise ship repair and maintenance project, IMCZY's project management team, relying on collective wisdom and innovative technology, gave full play to the technological advantages of green and intelligent ship repair, and efficiently completed the difficult operations. Relying on advanced equipment and management mode, the team not only delivered the project smoothly, but also explored a new path for the transformation and development of the cruise ship repair industry, which won the unanimous praise from the shipowner, ship inspector and partners.

On 14th April 2025, PACIFIC WORLD bearing the distinctive name of “Peace Boat”, which was meticulously renovated by IMCZY, sailed to the global waters with a brand new look, carrying the mission of promoting world peace and sustainable development of human society.
